Resumen en inglés | The development of the IMP-NSH-9704 hydricarbon-soluble neutralizer has been reciently completed for its application in crude oil atmospheric and vacuum distillation units. This new development presented high neutralization efficiency and an adequate corrosin control during its laboratory scale evaluation, controlling acidity normally found in the top lines. ths use of IMP-NSH-9704 improves pH control of sour waters and reduces fouling produced by water soluble neutralizer salts in top equipment; this product can be applied at the top lines and at the entrance of distillation tower after desalting, this last application point shows the greater technical advantages since it improes corrosion control in the top equipment and reduces basic nitrogen concentration in gasoline, jet fuel and diesel streams |
