| Resumen en inglés | This study had the objective of characterizing marital attachment in three intentionally selected couples that initiate parenthood. An exploratory-descriptive research was carried out from a qualitative methodology, based on the clinical method of case study. Several sessions of semi-structured interviews were applied in which different projective techniques were interspersed. The experiences that these couples experience in the bond tend to be ambivalent. Among the positive ones, the satisfaction for the achievements reached in the couple's relationship stands out, and among the negative ones, jealousy. The results show insufficient preparation to act as a secure and competent attachment figure for their spouses. Likewise, they reveal the need to continue investigating the couple's relationship, since it maintains relations of interdependence with the parental-filial subsystem, in the maternal/paternal performance and, ultimately, in the development of their children. |
| Resumen en español | Este estudio tuvo el objetivo de caracterizar el apego conyugal en tres parejas, seleccionadas de manera intencional, que inician la parentalidad. Se realizó una investigación exploratoria-descriptiva a partir de una metodología cualitativa, basada en el método clínico de estudio de casos. Se aplicaron varias sesiones de entrevistas semiestructuradas en las que se intercalaron diferentes técnicas proyectivas. Las vivencias que estas parejas experimentan en el vínculo tienden a ser ambivalentes. Entre las positivas destacan la satisfacción por los logros alcanzados en la relación de pareja y, entre las negativas, los celos. Los resultados muestran insuficiente preparación para fungir como figura de apego segura y competente para sus cónyuges. Asimismo, revelan la necesidad de continuar investigando la relación de pareja, pues esta mantiene relaciones de interdependencia con el subsistema parental-filiar, en el desempeño materno/paterno y, en última instancia, en el desarrollo de sus hijos. |
