| Resumen en inglés | Analysis about the evolution of cybernetics in the Soviet Union, discussing the origins of the discipline in the 1920s and 1930s, based on the work of Ivan Pavlov and Andrei Kolmogorov, its rejection in the beginning of the fifties, centered in aggressive critics produced in different publications, its rehabilitation after 1955, related to the consolidation of institutes, publication of books and articles dedicated to the field and the initiatives made by the researchers Aksel Berg e Aleksei Lyapunov, and the discipline apogee in the sixties, represented by the expansion of institutes and the peak of publications, despite some contradictions and controversies. The research identifies that the utilization of cybernetics in the USSR oscillated between a period of hard critics – despite not endorsed by the soviet communist party – to an exaggerated acclamation, creating equivocated ideas and excessively totalizing theories. |
| Resumen en portugués | Estudo discutindo a evolução da cibernética na União Soviética, analisando as raízes da disciplina nos anos 1920-1930, a partir da obra dos pesquisadores Ivan Pavlov e Andrei Kolmogorov, sua problemática inserção na realidade soviética no início dos anos 1950, com críticas agressivas feitas em diferentes publicações, posterior reabilitação a partir de 1955, com a instituição de organismos de pesquisa e publicação de diversos livros e artigos sobre a área, com foco nas iniciativas de Aksel Berg e Aleksei Lyapunov e, por fim, a expansão dos institutos e o auge de publicações nos anos 1960 e os impasses advindos desse sucesso. A pesquisa identificou que a utilização da cibernética oscilou na URSS, passando de um agressivo período de ataques – apesar de não endossado pela cúpula do partido comunista – a uma (por vezes exagerada) consagração, caindo em interpretações equivocadas ou excessivamente totalizantes. |
