| Resumen en inglés | n the Information Science field, studying the information flow requires an attentive look to the circulation of the information, considering the practices used towards information exchange between direct contacts and intermediaries. This study discusses the exchange of information in the network environment Textiles Local Productive Arrangement (APL) Americana / SP. For this, it uses the method of Social Network Analysis (ARS) to identify the role that each link plays in the structure of social network. The results indicate that the information flow in the APL Textile network presents a higher intensity mainly by linkages with few interactions. This allows the information to reach the extremities of the network, and also, the exchange of information with a high degree of novelty. The network environment makes possible the interaction among its components, occurring in accordance to specific interests, which are recognized or questioned by the peers |
