| Resumen en inglés | Academic performance in high school is very important to enter the university and in this to be a good professional. In the high school-university transition phase there is a low performance of students for many reasons. This research has the purpose of qualitatively characterizing the relationship between school performance in high school and university in students who after high school enter the career of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics. For which a data collection form was used and data was taken from the academic performance in high school and the subject of Scientific Research of the first semester of the career. With the help of the SPSS program, a graph was built that characterizes us and describes the performance of the students in both levels of study. Showing very good performance in high school and regular and low in college. Confirming the hypothesis, in the sense that the very good characteristics of school performance in high school are not reflected in the university academic performance of students entering the Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René Moreno-Facultad Integral del Norte-Carrera de Veterinaria y Zootecnia- Subject of Scientific Research |
| Resumen en español | El rendimiento académico en el bachillerato es muy importante para ingresar a la universidad y en esta para ser un buen profesional. En la fase de transición bachillerato-universidad hay un bajo rendimiento de los estudiantes por muchas causas. Esta investigación tiene el propósito de caracterizar cualitativamente la relación entre el rendimiento escolar en el bachillerato y la Universidad en estudiantes que después del bachillerato ingresan a la carrera de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia. Para lo cual se utilizó una ficha de recolección de datos y se tomó datos del rendimiento académico en el bachillerato y la materia de Investigación Científica del primer semestre de la carrera. Con la ayuda del programa SPSS se construyó un gráfico que nos caracteriza y describe el rendimiento de los estudiantes en ambos niveles de estudio. Mostrando un rendimiento muy bueno en el bachillerato y regular y bajo en la universidad. Confirmando la hipótesis, en sentido de que las características muy buenas del rendimiento escolar en el bachillerato no se reflejan en el rendimiento académico universitario de los estudiantes que ingresan a la Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René MorenoFacultad Integral del Norte-Carrera de Veterinaria y Zootecnia-Materia de Investigación Científica. |
