| Resumen en español | A lo largo de la historia se han tenido numerosas definiciones del término currículum. Su origen pudo haberse desarrollado en la universidad de Glasgow en Escocia, o tal vez en el periodo de enseñanza de Platón y Aristóteles. Diferentes autores nos han b rindado sus aportaciones para tratar de acercarnos al conjunto de elementos que encierra el término. Las teorías curriculares fueron las que dieron origen a su estructura para implementar contenidos que se pudiesen desarrollar en el aula. Hoy en día se tr abaja con contenidos amplios y diversos que reflejan el esquema socializador, formativo y cultural que tiene la escuela. La propuesta de un currículum básico está enfocada en satisfacer las demandas de la sociedad, atendiendo a la diversidad y ofreciendo u na igualdad de oportunidades a los estudiantes. El enfoque del currículum debe ser compatible con el enfoque educativo y debe estar orientado a fortalecer el desarrollo individual de la persona, su interrelación con la sociedad y su incorporación a la cult ura. El docente juega un papel de suma importancia, pues es quien tiene la tarea de lograr que se cumplan los objetivos de la educación |
| Resumen en inglés | Throughout history they have had numerous definitions of curric ulum. Its origin could have developed at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, or perhaps in the period of teaching Plato and Aristotle. Different authors have given us their contributions to try to approach the set of elements that contains the term. The curriculum theories were those which gave rise to its structure to implement content that could be developed in the classroom. Today we work with large and diverse content reflecting the socializing, educational and cultural schema with school. The propos al for a core curriculum is focused on meeting the demands of society, considering the diversity and offering equal opportunities to students. The focus of the curriculum must support the educational approach and should be aimed at strengthening the indivi dual development of the person, their interaction with society and its incorporation into the culture. The teacher plays a very important role, it is who has the task of achieving the goals of education are met |
