| Resumen en español | La mediación, como herramienta alterna de resolución de conflictos, ha sido utilizada por los trabajadores sociales como parte de su accionar profesional, cubriendo varios niveles en su intervención, como lo es la familia, caracterizando a esta unidad, por las interacciones de todos sus miembros, derivándose así, diversos tipos de conflictos entre ellos. Por tanto, este artículo reviste importancia debido a la necesidad de analizar la conflictividad familiar desde la mirada de la Mediación en la intervención social en el Sector La Mocorita del cantón Santa Ana, provincia de Manabí, Ecuador. Estuvo orientado en los fundamentos de la filosofía postpositivista cualitativa, bajo el método del paradigma interpretativo fenomenológico de tipo etnográfico, empleando la entrevista dirigida a tres familias que atraviesan por distintos tipos de conflictos familiares. Es imprescindible destacar que la intervención social del trabajador social a través de la mediación familiar es fundamental en la resolución de los conflictos familiares. |
| Resumen en inglés | Mediation, as an alternative tool for conflict resolution, has been used by social workers as part of their professional actions, covering several levels in their intervention, such as the family, characterizing this unit, by the interactions of all its members, thus deriving different types of conflicts between them. Therefore, this article is important due to the need to analyze family conflict from the perspective of Mediation in social intervention in the La Mocorita Sector of the Santa Ana canton, Manabí province, Ecuador. It was oriented in the foundations of the qualitative postpositivist philosophy, under the method of the phenomenological interpretative paradigm of ethnographic type, using the interview addressed to three families that go through different types of family conflicts. It is essential to emphasize that the social intervention of the social worker through family mediation is fundamental in the resolution of family conflicts. |
