| Resumen en español | El presente artículo pretende dar cuenta de los resultados de la investigación referida a los pensamientos de los profesores universitarios de Ciencias de la Salud, los cuales fueron identificados a través del análisis de tres dimensiones inscritas en la triada del pensamiento según Dewey, (1938). Lo que sabemos (intelectual), recordamos (personal) y percibimos (socio afectiva). Estas tres dimensiones permitieron investigar a profundidad el pensamiento del docente y su quehacer pedagógico. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron guías de relatos, encuestas y entrevistas lo que permitió indagar historias de vida, tipos de conocimientos y estatus-roles. Por lo holístico del estudio se pudo identificar la imagen con la que se identifica y son identificados los docentes. El estudio de las concepciones pedagógicas constituye una interesante propuesta de reflexión, orientada a mejorar la conceptualización pedagógica y refuerzo del primer componente básico del trabajo académico. Los resultados no solo tributan hacia el conocimiento y reconocimiento de los docentes universitarios, sino que exhortan hacia la transformación educativa a partir de la construcción de la identidad docente y actualización pedagógica |
| Resumen en inglés | The present article pretends to give an account of the results of the investigation referred to the thoughts of the university professors of Health Sciences, which were identified through the analysis of three dimensions inscribed in the triad of thought according to Dewey, (1938): What we know (intellectual), what we remember (personal) and what we perceive (affective partner). These three dimensions allowed investigating in depth the teacher’s thought and his pedagogical work. The instruments used were story guides, surveys and interviews, which allowed us to investigate life histories, types of knowledge and status-roles. Because of the holistic nature of the study, it was possible to identify the image with which the teachers are identified and identified. The study of pedagogical conceptions is an interesting reflection proposal, aimed at improving the pedagogical conceptualization and reinforcement of the first basic component of academic work. The results not only pay tribute to the knowledge and recognition of university professors, but also encourage educational transformation based on the construction of teaching identity and pedagogical updating |
