| Resumen en español | En el artículo se abordan los fundamentos teóricos del modo de actuación profesional pedagógico a partir del análisis de los criterios de diferentes autores sobre el tema, un acercamiento a las tareas y funciones de los profesionales de la Educación en Cuba, lo cual se define a través del papel de la función docente metodológica en la formación inicial del profesorado en las condiciones actuales.
