| Resumen en inglés | This paper represents culmination of the study about evolution of education in hydraulic engineering in Cuba, from beginning until present. Since its stablishment in 1976 by Ministry of Higuer Education,a process of continuous improvement in the curriculum of studies of university careers was accelerated, and Higher Polytechnic Institute José A. Echeverria was created. When the so-called plan A was stablished en 1977-1978 hydraulic engineering has 3 specilizations; the plan B and C in after years were applied until present time, that a new curricular design is under elaboration,it must be said that Plan C start in 1990-91, representing a most professional and radical transformations in the field |
