| Resumen en portugués | O lugar da chamada "arte primitiva" na apreciação estética do Ocidente sempre nos revelou mais sobre os anseios dos apreciadores do que sobre os valores dos criadores dos objetos classificados e coletados sob essa rubrica. Os surrealistas foram colecionadores entusiasmados desse tipo de objetos e os tinham em alta estima. Visa-se aqui lançar um olhar sobre as possíveis diferenças e continuidades entre o olhar de artistas e antropólogos hoje e o olhar do movimento surrealista sobre esse Outro através dos seus artefatos |
