Resumen en inglés Attention to teacher preparation in Basic Secondary, especially in its compulsory section in the Republic of Ghana, is an issue that is generating great controversy, due to the complexity involved in giving a coherent response to the heterogeneity of the teaching staff, since that certain democratic values ​​are not fully assumed by society and the educational system. In this article we base ourselves on the logical historical theoretical method and the analysis of documents for the study of the preparation of the Basic Secondary teacher and the empirical method of the survey of teachers and principals, from which it was specified that the preparation process of the Basic Secondary teacher in this municipality lacks an organization in the improvement system, which occurs spontaneously, they lack methodological activities aimed at the preparation of knowledge and procedures of the teaching methodology, the development of orientation and to the physical education of the student and attitudinal aspects related to their commitment and responsibility, for which it is proposed to improve the preparation of the teacher with the realization of strategic actions to sensitize teachers and managers in the implementation of the different forms of improvement and work methodological.
Resumen en español La atención a la preparación del profesor en la Secundaria Básica, especialmente en su tramo obligatorio en la República de Ghana, es un tema que está generando una gran controversia, debido a la complejidad que supone dar una respuesta coherente a la heterogeneidad del profesorado, ya que ciertos valores democráticos no son asumidos del todo por la sociedad y el sistema educativo. Desde este punto de vista, la respuesta a la preparación del profesor debe ser entendida dentro del continuum de respuestas establecidas a lo largo del sistema educativo, para garantizar a todos, el derecho a la educación y la igualdad de oportunidades, sobre todo en esta etapa, el desempeño profesional está en juego. Así las reformas en el sector docente desde finales de la década de los ochenta, se identifican en la estructura de su formación, problemas de calidad, se sostiene que la mejora de la educación y las oportunidades de aprendizaje profesional de los futuros profesores, es un paso crucial en la transformación de las escuelas y la mejora académica del estudiante. En tal sentido nos proponemos como objetivo de este artículo caracterizar la preparación del profesor de secundaria básica en el municipio Walewale, República de Ghana, para ello se aplicaron una serie de métodos carácter empírico como la encuesta, la entrevista y el análisis de documentos.Abstract: Attention to teacher preparation in Basic Secondary, especially in its compulsory section in the Republic of Ghana, is an issue that is generating great controversy, due to the complexity involved in giving a coherent response to the heterogeneity of the teaching staff, since that certain democratic values ​​are not fully assumed by society and the educational system.
