Resumen en inglés | Through a comparative theoretical method between the state of nature Hobbes states in his book «Leviatán» (1651) and Nozick’s libertarian proposal in his work «Anarchy, State and Utopia» (1974), this article states two philosophical-political conceptions which are nowadays contrasted into the Latin American reality. On the one hand, a nature state where every individual’s freedom is «dogmatized» (libertarianism or neoliberalism); on the other hand, a social institution in which the logic of self gives a way to the logic of us. The result will then be tension between two antagonistic structures (the Free Market versus the Social State), evidenced by attempts of fragmenting Latin American States on behalf of a freedom of the parties that want to impose on the welfare of all |
