| Resumen en español | Desde la publicación del libro “Dibujar con el lado derecho del cerebro (Dra. Betty Edwards, 1979), muchos artistas asumieron que el hemisferio derecho del cerebro, tenía un papel preponderante en las artes, lo cual confirmaba los estudios quirúrgicos de la década de 1960. Actualmente, las imágenes cerebrales in vivo, tomadas mientras el individuo realiza determinadas operaciones (matemáticas, poesía o música), evidencian las zonas específicas del cerebro activadas en cada caso, reforzándose el hecho de que en el hemisferio derecho radican muchas de las actividades propias del artista; sin embargo, es la comunicación constante entre ambos hemisferios, la responsable de las creaciones más importantes y nuestro éxito y sobrevivencia como especie |
| Resumen en inglés | Since the publication of the book: “Drawing on the right side of the brain” (Dr. Betty Edwards, 1979), most of the artists assumed the preponderant roll of the right cerebral hemisphere in the arts; thus confirmed the chirurgical studies of the 1960`s. Today, the in vivo brain images, took while volunteers performing special activities (mathematic, poetry or music), demonstrate the specific areas of the brain activated in each case, and reinforcing the fact that most of the activities owner of artists settled in the right hemisphere. However, is the constant communication between both hemispheres the responsible for the most important creations and our success and survival as species |
