| Resumen en inglés | This article discusses the phenomenon of ambiguity by using three vertices of Linguistics. The first one that is directed to the languages and that is based on the distinction between homonyms and polysemy. The second one that, despite being in the same bases of the first, surpasses the dichotomization and bets in a meaning born of the relationship between the terms of each language. Finally, a third party that defends the ambiguity as language characteristic, breaks with the fragmentation between lexicon and grammar and invests in the meaning as the result of the combination of multiple domains whose center is the language activity |
| Resumen en portugués | Este artigo aborda o fenômeno da ambiguidade por meio de três vértices da linguística. Um primeiro, que se direciona às línguas e que se pauta na distinção entre homonímia e polissemia. Um segundo, que, apesar de estar nas mesmas égides do primeiro, supera a questão meramente dicotômica e aposta num sentido proveniente da relação entre os termos de cada língua. Por fim, um terceiro, que defende a ambiguidade como uma marca da linguagem, rompe com a fragmentação entre léxico e gramática, e investe no sentido como resultado da articulação de vários domínios, cujo centro é a atividade da linguagem |
