| Resumen en español | El artículo registra en las ciencias sociales un retorno a la noción de sujeto, susceptible de inspirar un nuevo enfoque de la subjetividad en el campo de estudio de las representaciones sociales. Luego de recorrer los momentos que han significado la muerte y la resurrección de la noción de sujeto, destaca los principales temas que marcan su reintegración en la historia, en la sociología y en la antropología. Estos temas permiten descartar el riesgo de una visión solipsista en el examen de la parte subjetiva de las representaciones sociales. Para este fin se propone un esquema tripartito que relaciona la génesis y las funciones de las representaciones sociales con tres esferas (subjetiva, intersubjetiva y trans-subjetiva). El esquema se ilustra con un análisis de los debates relativos al célebre episodio de las caricaturas de Mahoma. Las reflexiones finales proponen orientar el estudio de las representaciones sociales hacia las relaciones entre el pensamiento y el cambio social |
| Resumen en inglés | This article points out the return of a notion of subject in social sciences that can be capable of inspiring a new approach to subjectivity in the field of study of social representations. After over viewing the moments that have meant the death and resurrection of the notion of subject, the main topics that mark its restitution in history, sociology and anthropology are emphasized. These topics prevent the risk of a solipsistic vision in the examination of the subjective part of social representations. For this purpose a tripartite scheme that relates the genesis and functions of social representations to three spheres (subjective, intersubjective and trans-subjective) is suggested. The scheme is illustrated with an analysis of the debates on the famous episode of Mohammed's cartoons. The final considerations have the purpose of orientating the study of social representations towards the relations between thought and social change |
