| Resumen en español | La figura mítica del Centauro ha sido atribuida por los historiadores a Francisco Villa, sin embargo, la literatura ha mostrado un interés especial por Rodolfo Fierro. En los cuentos “La fiesta de las balas” de Martín Luis Guzmán y “Oro, caballo y hombre” de Rafael F. Muñoz, Rodolfo Fierro transita de la historia a la literatura y, de aquí, al mito por medio de la figura mítica del jinete de la llanura. La estética y lo patético de la figura del hombre sobre una bestia, y lo artístico a la hora de cometer un crimen máximo, lo hacen merecer, en el ámbito de la literatura y el mito, el nombre de el “otro” Centauro del Norte |
| Resumen en inglés | The mythical figure of the centaur has been attributed by the historians to Francisco Villa. Nevertheless, literature has proven its preference of Rodolfo Fierro. In the stories " The party of the bullets " of Martin Luis Guzmán and " Gold, horse and man " of Rafael F. Muñoz, Rodolfo Fierro travels from the history to the literature and, of here, to the myth by means of the mythical figure of the rider of the plain. The aesthetics and pathetic figure of the man on a beast, and the artistic idea at the moment of committing a maximum crime, has earned it the name of the “other” Centaur of the North in the area of the literature and myth |
