| Resumen en español | La competencia indirecta o interferencia en la utilización de determinados recursos del nicho que puede tener lugar entre L. diatraeae y T. howardi, como consecuencia de la proximidad de sus microhábitat, no afecta significativamente la efectividad de estos parasitoides como biorreguladores de D. saccharalis , por lo que el parasitismo conjunto, en todos los muestreos, resultó superior al que se registró solo con L. diatraeae . Las liberaciones de T. howardi reducen, marcadamente, la distribución de la plaga. En condiciones de campo, donde se realizaron elevadas liberaciones de ambos parasitoides, no se observó ninguna pupa de L. diatraeae parasitada por T. howardi |
| Resumen en inglés | The indirect competition or interference in the use of certain resources of the niche that can take place between L. diatraeae and T. howardi , as consequence of the vicinity of their microhábitat, don’t affect the effectiveness of these parasitoides like biorreguladores of D. saccharalis significantly, for that that the combined parasitism, in all the samplings, was superior to the one that registered alone with L. diatraeae . The liberations of T. howardi reduce, markedly, the distribution of the pest. Under field conditions, where they were carried out high liberations of both parasitoides, any pustule of L. diatraeae parasited was not observed by T. howardi |
