| Resumen en inglés | This article focuses on the confluences between soccer and other social spheres through the daily relations and connections established between sports managers and professional politicians of different stratus, such as civic and syndical politics. It is described how they articulate and circulate in a social plot that is impossible to be empirically delimitated with precision. Some social agents have double insertion- in the representation of the time and in the representation of the interests a national political party or of a syndical party- and from this articulate position they open the space among the different leaderships. To think about the relationship between soccer and other social spaces shows that these worlds are not isolated, autonomous and separated, but that they are interconnected by multiples intersections in a complex reality, that for analytical purposes, are divided in fields |
| Resumen en portugués | Este artigo enfoca as confluências entre o futebol e outros âmbitos sociais através das relações e conexões cotidianas estabelecidas entre os dirigentes esportivos e os políticos profissionais de diferentes âmbitos, tais como os da política municipal e sindical. Descreve-se como tais atores articulam e circulam por uma trama social impossível de se delimitar empiricamente com precisão. Alguns agentes sociais têm uma dupla inserção – na representação dos interesses do clube e na representação dos interesses de um partido político nacional ou de um sindicato – e, a partir desta posição articuladora, abrem os canais e agilizam os favores que circulam entre os diferentes domínios. Refletir sobre a relação entre o futebol e outros espaços sociais mostra que estes universos não são estanques, autônomos e separados, mas que se encontram ligados por múltiplas interseções em uma realidade complexa que, para fins analíticos, dividimos em campos |
