| Resumen en inglés | Based on the contributions of the Bakhtin Circle, this paper investigates the infl uence of the digital hypertext features on printed texts by analyzing the potential reader role in that relation and the novel reading forms. To gather answers to the task, six articles from Superinteressante magazine were analyzed: three recent ones and three published before the Internet boom, in 1995. Confi rming the dialogic factor defended by the Circle, the results show that the hypertext structure of the recent articles, on offering multiple reading possibilities, invites for a more participative reader. Although general hypertext features were, in a way, present in the early articles, Internet-based hypertext features were made explicit in printed magazines due to the ever-growing, recurrent contact between the potential readers (mostly teenagers) and the digital media. Those Internet-based hypertext features were spotted in three types of text boxes: additional, complementary, and conclusive text boxes |
| Resumen en portugués | Este artigo investiga a infl uência das características do hipertexto digital sobre os textos impressos, observando o papel do leitor presumido nessa relação e as novas formas de leitura com base na teoria dialógica do Círculo de Bakhtin. Para responder aos problemas propostos, foi empreendida a análise de seis reportagens de divulgação científi ca da Revista Superinteressante, sendo três anteriores à grande disseminação da internet, em 1995, e três recentes. Pôde-se observar a ocorrência de uma composição hipertextual nas reportagens mais recentes, e que as possibilidades de leituras oferecidas pelos textos buscavam tornar o leitor mais participativo, de forma a evidenciar a dimensão dialógica defendida pelo Círculo. Alguns desses recursos já se mostravam de forma embrionária nas reportagens das edições mais antigas. Recursos comumente associados à internet foram possibilitados nas revistas impressas pelo contato mais recorrente dos leitores presumidos (geralmente jovens) com o meio digital. Esses recursos foram observados, sobretudo, no uso de três tipos de boxes: adicionais, complementares e conclusivos |
