| Resumen en español | El trabajo ensaya una aproximación teorética sobre ciertas prácticas de teatralidad desarrolladas por jóvenes mapuches urbanos desde fines del siglo XX. Para ello, desde un enfoque socio-estético, se analiza un discreto corpus de obras correspondiente a la producción de un grupo de teatro de la ciudad de Bariloche en Argentina y de dos compañías de la ciudad de Santiago de Chile, haciendo especial foco sobre las prácticas de esta parte del territorio. Indagando en la comprensión de estas manifestaciones como despliegue de estrategias estéticas performativas de identidad cultural emergidas en estrecha relación con el contexto histórico e ideológico en el que se inscriben, se aportan claves teóricas para interpretar su significado intercultural y el modo en que este significado interroga los discursos artísticos y de identidad nacional |
| Resumen en inglés | The paper attempts a theoretical approach on certain theatrical practices developed by the urban Mapuche youth since the late twentieth century. In order to do this from a social-aesthetical point of view, the paper will analyze the productions of two theater companies located in the city of Bariloche, Argentina and two companies from the city Santiago de Chile, paying a particular attention on the artistic practices of this part of the territory. Considering the understanding of these expressions as aesthetic strategies that enhance the performative cultural identity that emerges next to the historical and ideological context in which they occur, the essay will develop theoretical keys to interpret their intercultural meaning and to understand how this meaning questions the artistic discourse and national identity |
