| Resumen en inglés | the Sigatokas in Dominico Harton plantain, the present study was carried out at the Montelindo farm, located in the Santágueda region (Palestina, Caldas). The treatments consisted in the combination of blunting, defoliation, protectant and systemic fungicides, for some treatments until flowering or harvest. A complete randomized experimental block design was used with 11 treatments, 3 replicates and 11 plants per repetition. Evaluations of growth and production of the plant, severity index, and rate of disease development were carried out, as well as records of the number of conidia. The combination of the phytosanitary blunting off and defoliation with the application of protectant fungicide produced the best combined with defoliation and the application of systemic fungicide produced the lowest disease severity. By means of the conidia count, the predominance of black Sigatoka over yellow Sigatoka was observed |
