| Resumen en español | En este artículo hacemos una revisión de algunos conceptos que nos ayudan a pensar los problemas públicos desde una perspectiva pragmatista. Para llegar a ello, realizamos una breve síntesis de los aportes a esta temática realizados durante los años sesenta y setenta por autores de la escuela de Chicago, ello se presenta en la primera parte del artículo. En un segundo apartado, exponemos las cercanías y las distancias que sostienen con esta escuela los autores franco parlantes que nos interesan; también aquí presentamos los que nos parecen sus principales aportes al estudio de los problemas públicos. Por último, sintetizamos los elementos que consideramos de utilidad para pensar hoy en día una sociología pragmatista de los problemas públicos y terminamos el texto haciendo un breve recuento de aquellos puntos que a nuestro parecer no han sido suficientemente desarrollados por estos autores, abriendo con ello una posible agenda de investigación |
| Resumen en inglés | In this article we review some concepts that help us think about public problems from the pragmatist perspective. To achieve this, we carry out a brief summary of the contributions to this topic during the 1960s and the 1970s by authors from the Chicago school, presented in the first part of the article. In the second part, we show the similarities and differences the French speaking authors that concern us, hold with this school; we also show what we consider to be their main contributions to the study of public problems. Finally, we synthesized elements that we consider useful to think today pragmatist sociology of public problems and conclude the text making a brief account of those points which we believe have not been sufficiently developed by these authors, indicating a possible research agenda |
