| Spanish abstract | En este artículo destacamos algunos aspectos ligados a la perspectiva intercultural presente en la obra del filósofo brasileño Antonio Sidekum y del filósofo cubano-alemán R. Fornet-Betancourt. Haciendo referencia a ambos autores buscamos avanzar en una reflexión actual en torno a la ética, al reconocimiento y al discurso intercultural. A partir de las distintas trayectorias y posiciones existentes en América Latina, destacaremos especialmente la tesis de una alteridad radical defendida por Sidekum mostrando su relevancia para pensar los contextos asimétricos de vida como lo que caracterizan a América Latina. A partir de estas ideas nos asociamos a un pensar intercultural crítico que esté a la altura de una larga tradición emancipadora que le antecede y de los desafíos que el mundo global exige pensar |
| English abstract | This article highlights some aspects connected to the intercultural perspective in the works of the Brazilian philosopher, Antonio Sidekum, and the Cuban-German philosopher, R. Fornet- Betancourt. Referring to both authors, the study seeks to advance a current reflection about ethics, recognition and intercultural discourse. Starting from the different trajectories and positions existing in Latin America, the thesis of a radical alterity defended by Sidekum will be especially highlighted, demonstrating its relevance for thinking about asymmetrical life contexts such as those that characterize Latin America. Based on these ideas, this study is associated with critical intercultural thinking on a level with the long, emancipating tradition that antedates it and the challenges that the global world demands be thought |
