| Spanish abstract | Se ofrece un estudio descriptivo y documental que permitió el análisis de los tipos de posicionamientos teóricos sobre la competencia investigativa del docente universitario. Se revisaron bases de datos multidisciplinarias como: SCOPUS y WEB OF SCIENCE en un primer acercamiento, en un segundo nivel de la búsqueda se seleccionaron fuentes indexadas en bases de datos regionales: SCIELO, REDALYC, DIALNET, y PROQUEST. En un tercer momento de la búsqueda se utilizó Google Académico: Se delimitaron un total de 15 artículos científicos que permitieron, por un lado, establecer que la competencia investigativa del docente universitario constituye un tema de interés científico a nivel mundial, lo que revela su pertinencia como objeto de estudio y, por otra parte, se observó una limitada presencia de referentes que permitan fundamentar una sistematización teórica de la competencia investigativa del docente universitario. Los resultados obtenidos revelan los principales posicionamientos teóricos asumidos para el estudio de la competencia investigativa como una contribución a la teoría científica en las Ciencias de la Educación y como una base importante para la realización de otras investigaciones sobre esta temática |
| English abstract | This work offers a descriptive and documentary study that allows the analysis of the types of theoretical positions on the research competence of university teachers published in papers from journals indexed in Google Scholar in the period of 2006-2017. A total of 15 scientific papers were analyzed. The results show, on one hand, that the investigative competence of the university teacher is a topic of scientific interest worldwide, which reveals its relevance as an object of study and, on the other hand, there is a limited presence of references that allow to found a theoretical systematization of the investigative competence of the university teacher. The results obtained reveal the main theoretical positions assumed for the study of research competence as a contribution to scientific theory in Education Sciences |
