| Spanish abstract | En el contexto actual marcado por los niveles de incertidumbre, la nueva tecnología y la globalización se hace necesario la reflexión ordenada sobre el futuro que permitan adoptar las vías más aconsejables en el uso de los territorios y sus cambios a partir de la acción humana y de la misma naturaleza; por tal razón se hace imprescindible contar con herramientas para la gestión, planificación, regulación, transformación y ocupación del espacio territorial, como la prospectiva y sus herramientas. El presente artículo resume el resultado de la aplicación de estas útiles herramientas en la contribución a la elaboración del plan de ordenamiento territorial del municipio de Cienfuegos a partir de la vigilancia prospectiva |
| English abstract | In the current context marked by the levels of uncertainty, the new technology and the globalization becomes necessary the orderly reflection on the future that you/they allow to adopt the most advisable roads in the use of the territories and its chan-ges starting from the human action and of the same nature; for such a reason it becomes indispensable to have tools for the administration, planning, regulation, transformation and occupation of the territorial space, as the prospective one and their tools.
