| English abstract | This paper presents some considerations about the challenges to Applied Linguistics in relation to language teaching through the notion of discursive practice. Some important notions for the teaching context are presented, for example: the text as a unit of analysis, the materialization of discourses through specifi c genres, the consideration of the social horizon and the integration of other language forms, in their relationship with production and interpretation. In addition, there is a discussion about the notions of structure and event associated to textual production, and a proposal of pedagogical development of authorship, through an approach that considers the movement between repetition (paraphrase) and alteration (polysemy), as proposed by Orlandi in the fi eld of Discourse Analysis |
| Portuguese abstract | Apresento, neste texto, algumas considerações sobre desafi os da Linguística Aplicada relativamente à pedagogia de línguas, abordando a noção de prática discursiva. Exponho algumas noções relevantes para o contexto de ensino: o texto como unidade de análise, materializando discursos através de gêneros específi cos, abarcando o horizonte social e integrando outras formas de linguagem, em sua relação com a produção e a interpretação. Discuto ainda as noções de estrutura e acontecimento associadas à produção textual, e apresento uma proposta de desenvolvimento pedagógico do processo de autoria, através de uma abordagem centralizando o jogo entre repetição (paráfrase) e alteração (polissemia), conforme proposta de Orlandi no campo da Análise de Discurso.
