| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se presenta el estudio y la reflexión sobre los procesos de territorialidad en la región mixe que se ubica al noroeste del estado de Oaxaca, al sur de México. A través de una investigación etnográfica, se examinaron formas de territorialización en un pueblo en específico. Se estudiaron la historia, costumbres y tradiciones de éste para conocer cómo funcionan las instituciones y sus prácticas sociales específicas que vinculan y concretan la relación con el espacio y constituyen la vida colectiva. Esta investigación intenta contribuir a la reflexión epistemológica sobre comunidades y territorios indígenas en México, subrayando la importancia de las relaciones de reciprocidad. Por consiguiente, se llega a una conceptualización de la comunidad indígena como práctica concreta y del territorio como red de relaciones |
| English abstract | This article expose observations and analysis about processes of territoriality in the mixe region, located in the northwest of the State of Oaxaca, in the southern Mexico. Through of an ethnographic investigation, we have examined forms of territorial conception in a mixe village. We studied the history, customs and traditions to know institutions and social practices that connect and materialize the relation with space and constitute collective life. The demonstration tries to contribute to epistemological reflation on indigenous communities and territories in Mexico, underlining the centrality of reciprocal relationships. It concludes with a definition of "community" as a set of practices and actions, and of "territory" as a network of social relations |
