| Spanish abstract | En este artí£µlo se analiza sincr�nica y diacr�nicamente Gn 4, 1-16. Se usa el anᬩsis narrativo para poner a la luz la intenci�n del relato. A travé³ de distintas operaciones hist�rico-crí´©cas, a su vez, se procura dilucidar las necesidades vitales del Israel antiguo a las que la perí£¯pa pretendí¡ dar respuesta. Ambas aproximaciones convergen para poner de manifiesto el sentido teol�gico con que, al inicio del Pentateuco, se aborda la problemá´©ca de la violencia en el seno de la fraternidad humana: La envidia y la ira son sentimientos irracionales que advienen en la experiencia humana, y que se desencadenan en el culto, coraz�n de la religi�n, desfigurᮤola como espacio privilegiado para la comuni�n y la paz. El mensaje divino propone un camino para integrar la violencia a la experiencia de la hermandad: la serenidad y la paciencia |
| English abstract | This article analyzes synchronously and diachronically Gn 4:1-16. Narrative analysis brings to light the intention of the story. Through different historical-critical operations, it seeks to elucidate the vital needs of ancient Israel to which the pericope intends to respond. Both approaches converge to reveal, at the very beginning of the Pentateuch, the theological sense to deal with the problem of violence within human fraternity: Envy and anger are irrational feelings in human experience, and start in worship, at the heart of religion, disfiguring it as a privileged space for communion and peace. The divine message proposes a way to integrate violence to the experience of brotherhood: serenity and patience |
