| Spanish abstract | El presente estudio pregunta por la alteridad en el Breviloquium de Buenaventura y la sitúa entre Dionisio y Agustín, autores muy sensibles a este fenómeno humano de singular complejidad y relevancia actual. En efecto, el pensamiento de Buenaventura lleva la impronta tanto de Dionisio como de Agustín, sin que se identifique con uno de ellos, ya que trasciende la confluencia de ambos hacia aquella novedad que se pretende indagar. Por eso, el presente estudio propone un análisis de cinco textos del Breviloquium, que atestiguan tanto la recepción de Dionisio y de Agustín como la interpretación bonaventuriana de la alteridad. No se trata de descubrir la intención de Buenaventura, al apoyarse en la autoridad de dichos autores, sino que se contextualizan y analizan los textos respectivos en busca de cómo Buenaventura comprende la alteridad |
| English abstract | The present study probes alterity in Bonaventure's Breviloquium and places it between Dionysius Aropagita and Augustine, authors who are especially sensitive to this human phenomenon of singular complexity and current relevance. In effect, Bonaventure's thought carries the hallmarks as much of Dionysius as of Augustine, without necessarily identifying himself with either, since he transcends the confluence of both towards the novelty being studied. For this reason, the present study proposes an analysis of five texts from the Breviloquium that give evidence as much of Dionysius' and Augustine's reception as of the bonaventurian interpretation of alterity. This study is not about discovering Bonaventure's intention, but rather, basing itself upon the authority of said authors, contextualizing and analyzing the respective texts in benefit of discovering how Bonaventure understands reality |
