| English abstract | Through brief and at the same time careful examination of the Summa Theologica of St. Thomas Aquinas, this article aims to highlight how the author, when dealing with the notion of sacrifice in various parts of the work, allows working out an in-depth, giving a focus not only theological, but also anthropological. Showing the close relationship of these two aspects, it is proposed to draw the reflection the nexus between the deep human attitude in offering sacrifice to God and the one sacrifice of Christ, as perfect human expression of communion with God, accomplished once and for all and without ceasing celebrated in the Eucharist |
| Portuguese abstract | Através de breve e, ao mesmo tempo, cuidadoso exame da Suma Teológica de Santo Tomás de Aquino, este artigo visa colocar em evidência como o autor, ao tratar da noção de sacrifício em várias partes da obra, permite discernir uma compreensão aprofundada do mesmo, dando um enfoque não somente teológico, mas também antropológico. Ao se evidenciar a estreita relação destes dois aspectos, propõe-se haurir da reflexão o profundo nexo entre a atitude humana em oferecer sacrifício a Deus e o único sacrifício de Cristo, como perfeita expressão humana de comunhão com Deus, realizado uma vez por todas e sem cessar celebrado na Eucaristia |
