La obra se hallaba enmarcada en un contexto en el que Estados Unidos se encontraba cada vez más interesado por México. Por ello, este Artículo de investigación pretende contextualizar esta obra, y responder a la pregunta: ¿qué factores favorecieron dicho interés en las primeras décadas del siglo pasado? | English abstract | With "The History of Mexican Journalism", Henry Lepidus opened a gap, for other researchers to enter into the study of the past of the Mexican press. The work was framed in a context in which the United States was increasingly interested in Mexico. The purpose of this Research Article is to contextualize this work and answer the question: which factors favored this interest in the first decades of the last century? For this, in general we analyze the academic and student exchange that Mexico and the United States held in the twenties; and in the particular, we will study the case of the Summer School of the National University of Mexico |
