| Spanish abstract | El presente Artículo de investigación expone un análisis narratológico del libro Prefiero los funerales (1996), de Carolina Luna, centrado en las categorías de espacio, tiempo, acciones y voz. Se propone que los temas abordados por la autora son la muerte de la madre, el incesto, el deseo sexual, la muerte del ser amado, el desencuentro amoroso, la subordinación de las mujeres, la doble moral, el reconocimiento del propio ser. Asimismo, se plantea que la autora pertenece a la formación discursiva mestiza letrada |
| English abstract | The present Research Article exposes a narratological analysis of the book Prefiero los funerales (1996), of Carolina Luna, centered in categories of space, time, action and voice. It is proposed that the topics treated in this book are the mother’s death, incest, sexual desire, the beloved one’s death, the love disagreement, the submition of women, the double moral, the recognition of self. Also, it is argued that the author belongs to a discursive formation that can be defined as mestizo letrada |
