| English abstract | The text in hand describes some considerations on trajectories of life chosen from the social universe of the Waiwai relating to the last six decades. This period which covers the history of permanent relationships with diverse agents of the surrounding society, began in 1949 by north American missionaries of the Unevangelized Fields Mission. On the horizon of the following narratives there is a central question which guides the trajectories and outline of the presentation, which is: who are the Waiwai? |

No horizonte das narrativas subscritas uma questão se faz central, orientando a escolha das trajetórias e o roteiro da apresentação, a saber: quem são os Waiwai? |
