| English abstract | Within the scope of the investigations into the systems of represantation (imaginary and ideological) which help to sustain the Mbya Guarani social organization and their very being-in-the-world, the question of cosmology and the problems relating to knowledge and knowhow of time, stand as an important issue to be analysed, due to its centrality both for the historicity of their every day life, and for their religious formation. This paper is, therefore, an outcome of some partial and even approximate considerations derived from an analysis of some constitutive elements of the Guarani Mbyá temporality, which are mainly based on their mythology, and as an attempt to size this question up according to a discourse approach, to which obviously some ethnographic and philosophic discussions contribute |
| Portuguese abstract | No âmbito da proposta de investigar os sistemas de representação (imaginário e ideologia) que colaboram na sustentação da organização social e do estar-no-mundo guarani mbyá, a questão da cosmologia e, no interior dessa, os problemas relativos ao saber e ao fazer do tempo emerge como um ponto importante a ser estudado, dada a sua centralidade tanto no que respeita ao cotidiano histórico, como às questões concernentes à formação religiosa desse povo. Este trabalho resulta, no entanto, de considerações parciais e aproximativas de uma análise acerca de alguns elementos constitutivos da temporalidade guarani mbyá, com base principalmente em sua mitologia, e como uma tentativa de equacionar essa questão à luz de uma abordagem discursiva, para a qual obviamente contribuem as discussões etnográficas e filosóficas |
