| Spanish abstract | La convergencia en las telecomunicaciones está muy ligada a la evolución de los estados hacia la "Sociedad de la Información", el uso de las redes como principal infraestructura para el transporte yacceso a la información constituye un eslabón fundamental en este proceso. Este fenómeno va más allá dela integración de tecnologías y servicios, está sujeto a las tendencias tecnológicas, financieras yestratégicas para el mercado. En la actualidad son numerosas las iniciativas llevadas a cabo para lograr laconvergencia de los servicios de telecomunicaciones y garantizar un acceso total a los mismos, pero sindudas, el desarrollo y uso de los identificadores tiene especial interés por parte de los Organismos Mundiales de Normalización, ya que a nivel internacional la portabilidad numérica es considerada unfactor esencial que contribuye al desarrollo de la competencia de los servicios de telecomunicaciones.Con la presente investigación se pretende desarrollar un servicio de convergencia a partir de laimplementación del protocolo ENUM o "Mapeo de Números Telefónicos", el cual permitirá mediante unidentificador único el acceso tanto a servicios de las redes públicas de telefonía nacional, comoa los de la Internet |
| English abstract | Convergence in telecommunications is closely linked to the evolution of the states intothe "InformationSociety", the use of networks as the main transport infrastructure and access to information is a vital linkin this process. This phenomenon goes beyond the integration of technologies and services, is subject totechnological trends, financial and strategic for the market. Currently there are numerous initiativesundertaken to achieve convergence of telecommunications services and to ensure full access to them, butcertainly, the development and use of identifiers is of particular interest from global agenciesStandardization as international number portability is considered an essential factor that contributes to thedevelopment of competition in telecommunications services. With this research is to develop aconvergence service from the implementation of ENUM or "Mapping Telephone Numbers", which meansa unique identifier will allow access to both services of national telephone networks, as the Internet |
