| Spanish abstract | Los productos kitsch son sistemáticamente denostados como de mal gusto, pero desde la otredad, el buen gusto sólo se define desde el mal gusto. Cuando ambos se analizan, se descubren más semejanzas que discrepancias. Lo kitsch está en el arte y en lo cotidiano. El primero no escapa a la crítica ortodoxa. Al segundo por ser copia, basto y sobrecargado se le vitupera incesantemente. Cuando las personas encuentran placer estético en el objeto arte kitsch, el objeto kitsch, el objeto de lujo y el objeto artesanía, es posible conceptualizarlos con las mismas herramientas y definirlas como objetos de estudio |
| English abstract | The kitsch objects are reviled systematically as bad taste. Good taste is defined by the bad taste, using the point of view of the otherness. When both objects are defined by what they share, we found more things in common than discrepancies. Some experts divide the kitsch into artistic and daily objects. The first one is part of the art, nevertheless does not evade from the orthodox criticism. The daily kitsch is a copied, cheapened and overloaded object. It can be unique or massive. Accordingly, art is not the only source of human aesthetic pleasure. When people find aesthetic enjoyment in kitsch art, luxury object, and craft object, it is possible to conceptualize those objects with the same tools and define them as a matter of study |
