| Spanish abstract | Sin duda, las novelas del ciclo La guerra silenciosa, del escritor peruano Manuel Scorza, se relacionan con las series literarias del indigenismo o más bien del neoindigenismo y la novela sociohistórica. Pero, al mismo tiempo, Scorza se identifica con la tradición que en la línea de Mariátegui y de Arguedas intenta universalizar, indigenizándola, a la nación peruana. En mi percepción del escritor y de su pentalogía, pareciera que Manuel Scorza intentó dotar de una mitología y de una tradición a esa gran rebelión andina fundamentalmente indígena y mestiza, “clase sin clase”, desposeída de su territorio y mil veces masacrada. Quizás, entonces, no podríamos hablar realmente de un indigenismo primario en su pentalogía, sino de una inteligencia y sensibilidad peruana y latinoamericana que trascendentaliza la realidad cotidiana mediante un arte verbal que, por momentos, prevalece sobre la transmisión del mensaje, aunque sin anularlo |
| English abstract | Indubitably,novels of the cycle La guerra silenciosa,of the Peruvian writer Manuel Scorza are related to indigenism literary series or, more exactly, of the neoindeginism and sociohistoric novel. But, at the same time, Scorza is identified with the tradition that, in the line of Mariátegui and Arguedas, tries to make widespread the peruvian nation. In my own perception, Manuel Scorza tried to equip with a mitology and a tradition the great Andean rebellion, fundamentally indigenous and racially mixed “class without class”. Perhaps we could not really speak of a primary indigenism in this pentalogy, but of an intelligence and Peruvian and Latin American sensitivity that makes trascendental the daily reality by means of a verbal art that sometimes prevail over the transmision of message without anulling it |
