| Spanish abstract | En 2006, aparece al público Palabras iniciales, poemario compuesto por dieciséis poemas largos en los que la memoria, convertida en recuento de experiencias, se aleja de «espejismos y vanidades». Para el poeta, «la palabra» es pieza principal, permanencia; sin la palabra, existe la derrota y la oscuridad. Las sombras de Huidobro, Neruda, Vallejo y Paz se escuchan en los versos de Prada. La palabra se materializa, también es madre, nodriza y mujer amada; insubordinada, la poesía busca apresarla. En los poemas que conforman este libro, se aprecia un amor por el conocimiento y por la poesía |
| English abstract | Renato Prada published Palabras iniciales in 2006. It is a book with sixteen long poems; and in them, the memory, as a count of experiences, goes away from «illusions and futilities». «The word» of the poet is main piece, continuation. Without the word, there are defeat and darkness. The shadows of Huidobro, Neruda, Vallejo and Paz go along the verses of Prada. The world is material, mother, wet nurse and loved woman. The insubordinate poetry tries to capture it. The poems that shape this book show love for knowledge and poetry |
