| Spanish abstract | En la teoría cinematográ!ca existe un análisis clásico desarrollado por Christian Metz acerca de las «!guras retóricas» en el cine. Metz considera al montaje cinematográ!co como generador de !guras retóricas, pero un problema en su teoría es que la dimensión verbal del fenómeno de la «!gura retórica» cinematográ!ca queda solamente implícita, y esto parece ser la fuente de incongruencias e incluso errores en los resultados de Metz. El objetivo de este artículo es, justamente, hacer explícita la dimensión verbal en la noción de !gura retórica cinematográ!ca y obtener algunas consecuencias críticas a partir de ello. En este trabajo nos limitaremos al examen de la «metáfora fílmica» y dejaremos para un trabajo adicional el caso de la «metonimia fílmica» |
| English abstract | There is a classical analysis developed by Christian Metz about «rhetorical !gures» in cinema. In fact, Metz considers cinematographic montage as a generator of rhetorical !gures, yet a $aw in his theory is that the verbal dimension of the problem concerning the «cinematographic !gures» remains merely implicit. "is seems to lead to inconsistencies and even to mistakes in Metz’s conclusions. "e aim of this text is to explicit the verbal dimension concerning the notion of «cinematographic rhetorical !gure» and to obtain critical results from this. For now we will only examine the «!lmic metaphor» and in the near future we will cover the case of «!lmic metonymy» in an additional text |
