| Spanish abstract | Además de su faceta de académico, teórico y crítico de la literatura, encontraremos en este ensayo una revaloración de la escritura de ficción publicada por Prada. A una primera etapa compuesta por narraciones de fuerte contenido social y político, deviene otra, en la que se observa una cercanía con la literatura fantástica; una constante articula estos dos periodos, y es una preocupación por la forma —analepsis, uso de distintas voces narrativas, indeterminación de espacios—, además de la recurrencia de temas como el retorno con un fin frustrado, la soledad, y los avatares de la clase media o baja. Una fuerte resistencia del espíritu, cierta esperanza e ironía son reductos de luz en estas historias |
| English abstract | In this essay, we can find a favourable reassessment of the fictional writing of Prada, who is also academician, theorist and critic of literature. His first stage shows narrations with a strong social and political content. Later, his stories approach to fantastic literature. During these two periods, he is careful with the form: flashback, different narrative voices and indecisiveness of spaces. There are subjects as the return with a frustrated ending, loneliness and the vagaries of the middle or working class. A strong resistance of spirit, certain hope and irony are bastions of light in these stories |
