| English abstract | This article was elaborated with the aim to understand the weberian thought of the "objectivity" of knowledge and its contributions in the construction of Public Health in Brazil. It is based on the observations of researchers of the work of Max Weber, focusing on the "objectivity" of knowledge, developing an explanatory narrative highlighting sections of these works in order to ratify the issues developed. The construction of the importance of the choice of social actions as well as the selection of certain relations in the understanding of the social phenomenon in Public Health were divided in three phases of its history |
| Portuguese abstract | : Este artigo foi elaborado com o objetivo de compreender o pensamento weberiano da “objetividade” do conhecimento e suas contribuições na construção da Saúde Coletiva no Brasil. Parte-se das observações de pesquisadores da obra de Max Weber, com foco na “objetividade” do conhecimento desenvolvendo uma narrativa explicativa destacando trechos destas obras com vistas a ratificar as questões desenvolvidas. A construção da importância da escolha das ações sociais assim como a seleção de determinadas relações na compreensão do fenômeno social na Saúde Coletiva foram divididas em três fases de sua história |
