| Spanish abstract | Este trabalho busca melhor compreender a fundamentação filosófica da Etnomatemática no contexto de sua própria produção sendo um dos objetivos principais indicar possíveis convergências e influências filosóficas para esta área de pesquisas e estudos. A relevância acadêmica desta empreitada evidencia-se a partir da observação da escassez de produção do campo neste sentido. A metodologia empregada nesta investigação é qualitativa e documental. A partir de uma revisão bibliográfica escolhem-se alguns pesquisadores-textos com intuito de realizar uma análise reflexiva. Neste processo investigativo, as interpretações e reflexões feitas aproximam os pressupostos filosóficos etnomatemáticos dos pensamentos ditos pós-modernos, sugerindo-se que o pensamento filosófico nietzschiano seja assumido como uma possibilidade para os fundamentos filosóficos desta área. Busca-se ainda apontar para o pensamento nietzschiano como potencialmente promissor para o desenvolvimento filosófico da Etnomatemática |
| English abstract | This work aims to better understand the philosophical foundation of Ethnomathematics in the context of its own production, one of the main objectives being to indicate the possible convergences and philosophical influences of this area of research and studies. The academic relevance of this project is evident as observed in the lack of field production in this regard. The methodology used in this research is qualitative and documentary. From a literature review some researchers‟ texts are selected in order to perform a reflective analysis. In this investigative process, the interpretations and reflections made approach the philosophical ethnomathematical assumptions of postmodern thought, suggesting that Nietzsche's philosophical thought is a possible philosophical foundation of this area of studies. This research seeks to highlight Nietzschean thought as potentially promising for the philosophical development of Ethnomathematics |
