| Spanish abstract | El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un análisis situacional de la Empresa Regional Sistema Hidráulico Trujillano, S.A. (ERSHT, S.A.), en función a sus potencialidades, como instrumento promotor de tecnopolos en el estado Trujillo. Con base en el análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de la información obtenida del proceso de reestructuración desarrollado durante la gestión empresarial realizada entre el 21/06/1999 y el 28/03/2001, respaldado por el estudio jurídico-legal y en la consulta al personal obrero, técnico y directivos de la ERSHT, S.A., se logró determinar una serie de fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas, las cuales condujeron a precisar algunos componentes organizacionales que serían importantes para mejorar la productividad de la empresa a través de la autogestión, utilizando como base de sustentación la aplicación del plan de manejo integral de los recursos hidráulicos de la cuenca del río Motatán del estado Trujillo, definido entre los años 1993 y 1995. A partir de este análisis, se concluye que la ERSHT, S.A., podría constituir, a corto y mediano plazo, un ente promotor del desarrollo integral sostenible en el estado Trujillo, a través de estos sistemas de producción locales (tecnopolos) |
| English abstract | The objective of this study was to perform a situational analysis of the Regional Hydraulic System Company in Trujillo, S.A. (ERSHT, S.A.), in terms of its potential as an instrument to promote technopoles in the State of Trujillo. Based on qualitative and quantitative analysis of information obtained from the restructuring process developed during the business management period 21/06/1999 to 28/03/2001, backed up by a juridical-legal study and in consultation with workers, technicians and directors of the ERSHT, S.A., it was possible to determine a series of strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats, which led to specifying some organizational components that would be important for improving the company’s productivity through self-management, using as a support basis application of the integral management plan for hydraulic resources in the Motatán River basin, State of Trujillo, defined between 1993 and 1995. Based on this analysis, conclusions were that ERSHT, S.A., could become, in the short and medium term, a company that promotes integral, sustainable development in the State of Trujillo, through these local production systems (technopoles) |
