| English abstract | The religious phenomenon permeates societies, changes from time to time and instigates authors to pore over its manifestations in order to analyze, distinguish and classify them. For the analyses of this phenomenon, there are several categories. Relying on literature approach, this article proposes to restate three fundamental categories for understanding the religious phenomenon: religiosity, faith and religion. It aims to demarcate criteria to analyze religious expressions of everyday life. It is expected to be clear enough for analysis and better understanding of reality, knowing the temporariness and differences that give rise to such categories. Despite being from the point of view of the Christian tradition, this analysis presents a broad approach, taking as reference the Religious Sciences. Religiosity, faith and religion are dynamic experiences of human societies. These experiences may occur in a coordinated way or separately, but they always indicate the relationship of human beings with transcendental realities. Each of these experiences, in their own way, has a strong presence and responsibility in the organization and construction of meaningful life. The tuning between these experiments favors the existential dynamics of each person and contributes to the constant transformation of religious and social life |
| Portuguese abstract | O fenômeno religioso é uma realidade que perpassa as sociedades, altera-se de tempos em tempos e instiga vários autores a se debruçar sobre suas manifestações com o intuito de analisar, distinguir e classificar. Várias são as categorias apontadas para tal análise. Tendo como referência a abordagem bibliográfica, este artigo se propõe a revisitar três categorias fundamentais para a compreensão do fenômeno religioso: a religiosidade, a fé e a religião, pretendendo demarcar critérios para analisar expressões religiosas do cotidiano e, assim, favorecer novas análises e maior conhecimento da realidade, sabendo da provisoriedade e divergências que tais categorias suscitam. Mesmo partindo de um ponto de vista da tradição cristã, procurou-se uma abordagem ampla, tendo como referência as ciências da religião. Religiosidade, fé e religião são experiências dinâmicas das sociedades humanas e podem ocorrer de forma articulada ou separadamente, mas sempre indicam a relação dos humanos com realidades transcendentais. Cada uma, à sua maneira, tem forte atuação e responsabilidade na organização e construção da vida com sentido. A sintonia entre elas favorece a dinâmica existencial de cada pessoa e contribui para a transformação constante da vida religiosa e social |
