| Spanish abstract | La región del Nahuel Huapi, en tanto zona de frontera, ha sido interpretada en diferentes sentidos, que se pueden vincular al modo en que el Estado Nacional ha considerado dos integraciones territoriales, la argentino-chilena y la de norpatagonia al resto del país. En vista de ello, este escrito busca indagar y sintetizar las lógicas de territorialización que, desde diferentes marcos valorativos e intencionalidades políticas, se proyectaron en la región desde fines del siglo XIX hasta la actualidad. La tradición de estudios existentes permite plantear que el desarrollo regional, a partir de la década del '30, se resuelve en clave turística asociado al establecimiento de un área natural protegida. En las páginas que siguen se recorrerán los distintos matices que permiten una lectura dinámica del espacio, involucrados en esta definición del espacio, observando los cambios a lo largo del tiempo, que evidencian la permanencia de significados aún abiertos y en disputa, ligados a la pervivencia de tensiones históricas que estructuran desigualdades vigentes |
| English abstract | The region of Nahuel Huapi is a border zone, so it has been interpreted in different ways. These multiple senses can be linked to the way the Federal Government has considered two territorial integrations, the Argentine- Chilean and the Northern Patagonia with the rest of the country. This manuscript investigates and synthesizes the logics of territorialization that were projected in the region since the late nineteenth century to the present, from different values and political intentions. The existing studies sustains that regional development, from the '30s, was solved in clue of tourism associated with the constitution of a protected area. In the next pages we search the various nuances involved in the construction of the senses of the area. We look at changes over time, evidencing the permanence of meanings still open and in issue, linked to historical tensions and existing social inequalities |
