| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se sostiene la importancia de integrar los saberes producidos por la neurociencia afectiva a las investigaciones de la sociología de las emociones. A diferencia de años anteriores, en tiempos recientes es posible ver un viraje en los planteamientos de la neurociencia afectiva hacia la incorporación del factor social y cultural. Esto permite pensar en problemas de investigación que unan los conocimientos de la sociología de las emociones y la neurociencia afectiva. | English abstract | In this paper, the author advocates the importance of integrating the findings of affective neuroscience to the sociology of emotions. In recent times, affective neuroscience has incorporated culture and society in the explanation of emotional process. This creates the possibility of posing research problems that combine the findings of the sociology of emotions and affective neuroscience. Drawing on the analysis of documents, this paper argues that the perception of an emotional event is one of those potentially shared research problems |
