| Spanish abstract | Este artículo analiza el tipo de relación que Luhmann establece entre la estructura societal y la semántica. El trabajo muestra cómo la sociología del conocimiento de Luhmann se basa en la hipótesis de la correlación entre ambos tipos de estructura y se concretiza a través de los mecanismos de la evolución de las ideas. Esta formulación se encuentra ligada a un tipo de formación social estratificada, mientras que, para la sociedad funcionalmente diferenciada, la explicación de la relación entre ambos conceptos queda vacante, debido a la disolución de la evolución de las ideas. El análisis de las propuestas de los principales comentaristas muestra que no hay otra hipótesis alternativa que resulte válida. |
| English abstract | This paper analyzes the relation-ship that Luhmann establishes between societal structure and semantics. This work shows how Luhmann’s sociology of knowledge is based on the hypothesis of the correlation between both types of structure and is concretized through the mechanisms of the evolution of ideas. This formulation is linked to a stratified social formation, while, for the functionally differentiated society, the explanation of the relationship between both concepts is left vacant, due to the dissolution of the evolution of ideas. The analysis of the ideas proposed by the main commentators shows that no other alternative hypothesis is valid. |
