| Spanish abstract | En este trabajo se analizan las desiguales condiciones de habitabilidad que ofrecen las viviendas de la Ciudad de México para enfrentar el distanciamiento social impuesto por el sars2-Covid-19. En particular, se analiza la precariedad habitacional en la que viven los sectores populares y las dificultades que tienen para cumplir con el mandato gubernamental de “quédate en casa” y “lávate las manos” como las principales medidas de protección frente al contagio del virus. También se consideran las acciones de los tres ámbitos de gobierno y algunas propuestas ciudadanas para sobrellevar esta emergencia sanitaria y sus graves efectos económicos y sociales |
| English abstract | This work analyzes the unequal living conditions offered by Mexico City’s housing to deal with the “social distancing” imposed by sars2-Covid-19. In particular, it analyzes the housing precariousness in which the popular sectors live and the difficulties they face in complying with the government mandate to “stay at home” and “wash your hands” as the main protection measures against the spread of the virus. It also considers the actions taken by the three levels of government and some citizen proposals to cope with this health emergency and its serious economic and social effects |
