| Spanish abstract | La unificación de criterios y el establecimiento de una guía de cuidados de enfermería en la instalación y manejo de la terapia asistida por vacío, nos permite otorgar cuidados de calidad al paciente que cursa con alteración de la integridad cutánea y tisular. La introducción reciente del tratamiento de heridas con presión negativa, ofrece nuevas posibilidades para el tratamiento de diversas lesiones, integrándose fácilmente a los medios disponibles por su accesibilidad y su aplicación, optimizando la asistencia y reduciendo los costos, al favorecer la cicatrización más rápida, menor número de cambios de apósito, menor tiempo dedicado por el personal de enfermería y reducción de la estancia hospitalaria |
| English abstract | The unification of criteria and the establishment of a directory of nursing care in the installation and operation of the vacuum-assisted therapy will allow us to provide quality care to the patient who present with alteration of the integrity of skin and tissue. The recent introduction of treating wounds with negative pressure, the couple offers new potential treatment of various injuries, which integrates easily available means for its accessibility and its application, optimizing care and reducing the costs to promote faster healing, the fewer dressing changes, less time spent by nurses and fewer hospital stay |
